EGG CARTON CREATION

This week for our Whetu Challenge we created something using egg cartons.

The thing that wasted most of my time was waiting in the hot glue gun line of waiting for the glue to dry.

The easiest part wast to cut out the parts form the egg carton to make my creation.

The hardest part was to do my original idea and that was a panda but the ears looked too much like a dog so I went with a dog.

This is my Matariki jigsaw puzzle for the week. We had to do this for our writing task this week. The hardest part was filling in the sentences, the easiest part was drawing the calendar.

This is my reading Matariki post for two days I was not here on Monday so I had to do it on Tuesday. The hardest part was filling in all of the sentences in.   

Paper planes

Whetu Challenge - Paper Planes

Today our challenge was to design an accurate paper plane. We were given a draft piece of paper to trial and a good piece to use once we had tested the accuracy of it.

Before we started I thought this challenge was going to be hard because I didn't think we will have to make one that is accurate.

I decided to use the design because I thought it will be accurate.

The hardest part was to find a paper airplane that I could make.

During our competition time, I managed to score 30 in the whole time of doing it.

Synthesis Eggs

This week I did my Synthesis Eggs about fainting goats, The hardest part was prior knowledge again because I didn't know goats can faint.    

Sick sentences

This is my sick sentences for the week. The hardest part was to think of the last sentence on the last side because I did not know what to write.

Today for my synthesis eggs I chose to do the firenado. The hardest thing was to do prior knowledge because I have never really look into it before. 

blog challenge

For this week I did my blog challenge, we had to do what we will be like in 2030. The hardest thing was to do what my biggest achievement will be because I don't know what I will be doing then. The easiest thing was to do who I will still be friends with because Oscar and Patrick are my close friends. 

sick sentence

Today I did my sick sentence, We had to have a picture of an owl looking at a wasp. We had to write down to nouns, then after that we had to write what the Adjectives down and then the teacher wrote down a poor sentence and we had to fix it up and make it better than before.

Tennis ball tower

Tennis Ball Tower Challenge

Today for our Whetu Challenge we worked in a group to build a tower out of newspaper,
2 straws, and sellotape. We needed to make our tower strong enough to hold a tennis
ball and be able to stand alone (not leaning on anything or needing support).

Today I worked with Patrick and Joseph. 

At first, we had trouble with stabilizing it. 

The easiest thing was to tape it all together  

The best part of our tower was the base because we made it stabilize.

Our tower looked tall and bad.

In the end, it looks worse but it stod and the tennis ball did not stand so we had to hold it. 

Sick sentences

These are my slides for this week's sick sentence. The hardest part was the last slide where I had to make the sentences better than before. The easiest thing was when you had to make a list of nouns of what you can see in the picture. Click here to go to the slides.

Week 8 blog challenge

This week I did the blog challenge, on my dog Bow the hardest thing was to get the word art to fit in the boxes the thing that I liked most was to look at the photo of Bow and look at his smile.
